UNHCR's partner in Finland pleads for more municipality places for refugees
The Finnish Refugee Council encourages municipalities to receive more refugees. Without a municipality to settle in refugees already selected for resettlement cannot arrive in Finland.

School youth from all over Sweden were eager to learn more about the trials refugees go through during an event at Skansen 9 May. By playing UNHCR's interactive web-based game, Against All Odds, they walked a mile in the shoes of refugees.
Refugees were also victims of Utøya massacre
Khalid Haji Ahmed, 32, an aspiring politician, was on Utøya Island in Norway on 22 July 2011. That day Anders Breivik opened fire, killing 69 people. Khalid's little brother Ismail Haji Ahmed was among the victims.
Donors pledge more than 300 million euros to help refugees in Balkans
International donors have pledged an initial sum of more than 300 million Euros towards a programme to provide homes for some 74,000 people displaced in the Balkans during the conflict of the 1990s.
