You can help!
There are lots of ways that you can help UNHCR - directly and indirectly. One obvious way is to make a donation, which will go straight to helping our field operations around the world. It's an easy process and you can give whatever amount you want - it all helps.

You can also arrange an event in your school or workplace on World Refugee Day, 20 June every year, or nominate someone for The Nansen Refugee Award.
Another awareness-raising activity is putting up the role play “Passages”. The game is a powerful way to experience what refugees go through. Passages can also be used as an educational tool. If you want to know more, please contact the office in Stockholm.
Volunteering is a valuable way to contribute. Volunteers have worked as part of the UNHCR team and some of its partners in numerous operations, including Pakistan, Somalia, the Sudan, the Balkans, Timor-Leste and West Africa. The United Nations Volunteers (UNV) programme is the focal point for voluntary service in the UN system.
